After trying both AI as an answer-provider and AI as a coach, which questions help you judge which mode actually served you better?
Compare the two outputs and ask: what was more helpful — information or reflection — and when is AI useful versus a hindrance for finding a solution?
The point of running both modes is the comparison, not either one alone. Set the results side by side and interrogate them:
- Was information or reflection more helpful for reaching a good solution?
- When is AI useful, and when does it get in the way? (Fast facts can shortcut research; but if it hands you the answer, it can also short-circuit the thinking that makes the solution yours.)
- What was the best solution found, and how did you find it — and how did the way you used the AI shape that process?
The broader lesson is awareness of your own working style: a confident list of methods from a chatbot feels like progress, but reflection on your specific situation is often what actually moves you toward the right solution. Knowing which you need — and not mistaking one for the other — is the skill.
