How do you turn a familiar place into a route?
Walk a single, natural path through it in one consistent direction, never crossing your own trail.
Decide a fixed journey — e.g. front door → hallway → living room → kitchen → bedroom — and always travel it the same way. Rules that keep it reliable:
- One direction, no doubling back or teleporting between rooms.
- A natural walking order (the way you'd actually move through the space).
- The route should feel obvious, so re-walking it never makes you hesitate about "what's next".
Consistency is everything: the same path every time is what guarantees the same order every time.
