Was ist eMBB in 5G?

eMBB bedeutet enhanced Mobile Broadband und beschreibt 5G als sehr schnellen mobilen Breitbandzugang.

Das Ziel von eMBB ist ein Nutzererlebnis, das sich eher wie Glasfaser als wie klassischer Mobilfunk anfuehlt: hohe Datenraten, grosse Kapazitaet, Streaming, AR/VR und dichter Stadtverkehr. eMBB war der erste grosse 5G-Anwendungsfall in Release 15.
