What are the building blocks of normative Führung, and how do they relate to the Leitbild?

The entrepreneurial vision at the top flows into corporate constitution, corporate policy, and corporate culture — and all of it is condensed into the unternehmerisches Leitbild.

The structure:

• Unternehmerische Vision (entrepreneurial vision) — the source: where should this company go?
• It is operationalized through three parallel pillars:
  • Unternehmensverfassung (corporate constitution) — the formal rules and governance framework
  • Unternehmenspolitik (corporate policy) — the substantive goals and principles
  • Unternehmenskultur (corporate culture) — the lived values and behaviors
• Unternehmerisches Leitbild (mission statement) — the condensed, communicable document that expresses all of the above

Why the Leitbild matters for ISM: corporate mission statements (e.g. an insurer like Helsana stating core messages about market, customers, technology, and innovation) set the frame any security policy must align with. A security policy that contradicts the Leitbild — e.g. blocking the innovation the Leitbild promises — will lose every escalation.
