What is 2¹⁰, and what unit does it define?
1024 — one kibibyte (KiB): 1024 bytes, the "binary thousand".

Chunk 1024 → 10 · 24 → dice · narr: picture a jester (NARR) rolling a pair of DICE. 2¹⁰ = 1024 is why a "kilobyte" in the binary sense is 1024, not 1000 — the 2.4% gap between the decimal (1000) and binary (1024) meanings is the source of endless storage-size confusion.
Tip: Each further ×1024 climbs the ladder KiB → MiB → GiB → TiB.
