- Vorbereitung (preparation) — know the facts, the numbers, the objections before the meeting
- What if …? — scenario thinking: show consequences of not deciding ("what if we get breached without this control?")
- Lobbying — win supporters informally beforehand; never let the meeting be the first time decision-makers hear the idea
- Stakeholder Management — systematically identify who is affected, who can block, who can sponsor — and address their interests
